In most models, you'll find it under the crisper, or sometimes in the freezer. On this label is a serial number. This number has certain characteristics: in the Bosch and Siemens refrigerators this is the name E. The Whirlpool and Bauknecht refrigerators have the name 12NC and the code still contains 12 numbers. The PNC code for Electrolux fridges has 9 digits followed by a hyphen and 2 digits.

1.       Surf the Online Repair Spare Parts Online Store. Type the serial number of your fridge in the search strip below "search by device type". If you do not find it that way, you can also type your fridge code in the main search bar.
2.       Choose your fridge from the list.
3.       You now see a list of all the spare parts compatible with your American fridge. In this list you will also find the suitable water filter.
4.       Click on "buy" and order your water filter. It will be delivered the next day!

Replacing the water filter in your fridge is very simple. On most models, it is not even necessary to shut off the water supply. Just remove the used filter (normally located in the lower and central part of your fridge). Attach the new filter, and enjoy fresh, pure water again!
